104th Birth Centenary Celebrations of Sawai Man Singh II held in Jaipur



Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II was the last ruling Maharaja of Jaipur the famed Pink City of Rajasthan. He ruled Jaipur State from 1922 to 1949 before the princely state was made a part of the Dominion of India. Jaipur is a well known heritage city of India. A heritage walk was also organized in the city wherein the royal members participated and took a glimpse of the old city streets of Thatheron ka Rasta, Nataniyon ka Rasta, Maniharon ka Rasta among others. The walk culminated at the Rajasthan School of Arts that is located on Kishanpole Bazar in Jaipur.
